Pabst seems to be trying out a Kinda girl Pabst Blue Ribbon shirt few things a Bunuel-like playfulness shot selection character introductions, thereby reconfiguring dramatic emphasis, more of that trademark noticeable disinterest in the subject of the shot, favoring realism instead.
